Understanding and Using AIA C401 (Part 1 of 2)
Standard Form of Agreement Between Architect and Consultant: Deconstructing AIA B101
Presented by William G. Geisen, Esq.
Recorded: October 14, 2010
Length: 90 minutes

Because C401 Agreement with the Architect has omitted many of the terms and conditions that its predecessor documents covered, you as the consultant are now bound to the same terms, conditions, scope and duties included in AIA B101, the Architect's Agreement with the Owner.

As a result of this key change, it is imperative that your project manager be completely familiar with the terms and conditions of B101 in addition to those of C401, and that you obtain a copy of B101 from the architect, in order to know what provisions to exclude or amend in your Agreement with the Architect for the project.

Part 1 of this two-part online seminar concentrates on B101.

This product is available as a download document only. At the end of your order, click the download link on the Order Confirmation screen. You will download a zip file containing a PDF with a link to the recorded seminar and a copy of the session slides.
