2027 Annual Convention and Legislative Summit
The American Council of Engineering Companies invites you to submit a presentation proposal for the 2027 Annual Convention & Legislative Summit.
Join industry leaders, practitioners, and business professionals at the premier event for engineering business management. With more than 1,000 attendees, the Annual Convention brings together A/E/C professionals from the public and private sectors to explore emerging trends, strengthen leadership, adopt new technologies, and share innovative solutions shaping the future of the industry.
We're seeking dynamic educational presentations that help engineering firms grow, strengthen business practices, foster ethical leadership, and improve communication and organizational performance.
Selected presenters will receive exclusive benefits:
- Complimentary registration for the day of their presentation or 20% off a full 2027 ACEC Annual Convention registration*
- Presentation, social media and website visibility through ACEC communications
- Valuable networking opportunities and potential future speaking engagements
*Please note: ACEC does not reimburse presenters for travel or other expenses associated with speaking at the 2027 Annual Convention.
Proposals will be evaluated based on:
- Clear session description and strong, measurable learning objectives
- Relevance to A/E/C professionals
- Practical content that provides educational value and encourages professional discussion
- Inclusion of ACEC member firm owners or employees as presenters (encouraged)
- ACEC member presentations are given priority
If selected, presenters agree to:
- Comply with all copyright and trademark requirements
- Submit a 500–750-word session summary and PowerPoint presentation for inclusion in the 2027 Annual Convention app
- Refrain from any sales pitches as product marketing and demonstrations are prohibited
- Ensure presentation duration is 60 minutes with Q&A
- Obtain prior approval for any significant changes to session content or speakers
- Allow their session to be recorded for remote viewing
- Work with an assigned ACEC committee to address any recommended revisions before the event

By agreeing to present for ACEC:
I represent, guarantee, and warrant to ACEC that the Material submitted by Presenter/Trainer for presentation is original and free from any copyright and trademark restrictions; that any content or other material contributed by the Presenter/Trainer does not violate any copyright, trademark, proprietary, or personal rights of others, and shall not contain any material from other copyrighted works without the written permission of the owner of such copyrighted material and appropriate attribution; that to the best of the Presenter/Trainer’s knowledge and belief, the Material is factually accurate and contains no matter that is scandalous, libelous, unlawful, or otherwise actionable; that the Presenter/Trainer has not previously in any manner disposed of any of the rights granted to ACEC, or previously granted any rights adverse or inconsistent with such grant of rights; and that there are no rights outstanding that would diminish, encumber, or impair the full enjoyment or exercise of the rights granted to ACEC.
I shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ACEC and its agents, Board members, employees, affiliates, successors, assignees and licensees from and against any claim, damage, liability, expense or loss, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs associated therewith, or with the enforcement of this indemnity, arising from any claim asserted against ACEC by any person or entity, arising from my actual or alleged breach of any of the representations, guarantees, or warranties in this Agreement or arising from the Presentation or Materials.
